The Arran Whitebeam tree has been know about for a while, but it has been discovered that there are two specimens of the new Catacol Whitebeam (Sorbus pseudomeincichii)  by researchers on the Isle of Arran. These two trees are thought to be the only two of thier kind in the World! Its quite amazing what can be growing around the corner, and you don't even realise it!

I shall try to get some pictures of these trees up very soon :)
